The project represents a total investment of \u20ac260,764.51, including \u20ac117,344.02 in grant funding under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 16 June 2026, Tucai Bulgaria EOOD presented the results of its completed energy efficiency project during a closing press conference held in Aydemir.<\/p>\n

The project was implemented under Contract No. BG-RRP-4.021-0039-C01, signed with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works under procedure BG-RRP-4.021 \u201cSupport for the energy renovation of buildings in the manufacturing, trade and services sectors\u201d. The project is financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and co-financed by the European Union.<\/p>\n

Tukai Bulgaria EOOD is part of TUCAI, an international company founded in Barcelona in 1963. Since expanding into Bulgaria in 2007 with a production facility in Aydemir, the company has supplied high-quality products to European customers while strengthening its position across several industrial sectors.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the company applied for support under the Recovery and Resilience Plan and, following approval in 2025, signed the contract for project implementation.<\/p>\n

The total value of the investment is \u20ac260,764.51, of which \u20ac117,344.02 is grant funding.<\/p>\n

Project objective<\/strong><\/p>\n

The project aims to improve the energy efficiency of the production facility through energy-saving measures designed to reduce energy costs, enhance operational performance, improve working conditions and strengthen the company\u2019s sustainability and competitiveness.<\/p>\n

Energy-saving measures implemented<\/strong><\/p>\n

Several measures aimed at improving the building\u2019s energy performance were implemented as part of the project:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Thermal insulation of external walls: was installed on the external walls to reduce heat losses and improve the building\u2019s overall energy performance.<\/li>\n
  2. Thermal insulation of the roof: was added to improve heat retention during winter and limit overheating in summer.<\/li>\n
  3. Replacement of old windows and doors: were replaced with PVC frames and thermally insulated doors, reducing energy losses and improving indoor comfort.<\/li>\n
  4. Replacement of heating units: obsolete heating equipment was replaced with high-efficiency inverter units, enabling more efficient heating and cooling while reducing electricity consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Results achieved<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The project has significantly improved the energy performance of the production facility. Key results include:<\/p>\n

    * improved energy efficiency of the production building;<\/p>\n

    * reduced heat losses through the external walls and roof;<\/p>\n

    * improved working conditions for employees;<\/p>\n

    * reduced electricity consumption for heating and cooling;<\/p>\n

    * optimised operating costs;<\/p>\n

    * increased sustainability and competitiveness.<\/p>\n
