We want to develop this mission based on the values that identify us. We are expert, reliable, honest, responsible and committed to diversity and equal opportunities.
Management is committed to provide the necessary resources to achieve the objectives set in our Management System. It is also committed to ensuring that the Policy is understood and implemented, involving all levels of the organization.
For this purpose, we have developed a management system based on:
To improve the satisfaction of our customers with the product supplied and with the service and attention provided by GRUPO TUCAI.
Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes through continuous improvement and under a continuous perspective of risk assessment and prevention.
To promote innovation in both products and processes, fostering knowledge, scientific exchange and development applied to our customers.
Satisfying stakeholders: protecting the environment, customers, certification bodies, suppliers and TUCAI personnel.
Minimize risks to the safety and health of your employees. Promote consultation and participation of workers or their representatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the prevention of pollution and climate change.
Management System Compliance
- Tucai Group is proactive in order to deliver a product in compliance with legal and customer requirements; such as REACh, RoHS, PFAS, POP, TSCA, California 65 or the Waste Framework Directive.
- We regularly monitor changes in the market related to these issues using various sources such as government websites, consulting firms and suppliers.
- The Tucai Group is committed to the care and protection of people and the sustainability of the environment.
- Obtained ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) certification at the production sites in Bulgaria and China, as well as ISO 9001 (Quality Management) certification at all 3 factories.
- The TUCAI group calculates the carbon footprint of its organization (as of 2021) and defines improvements to reduce this footprint. TUCAI also works on the carbon footprint of products in order to bring friendly and safe products to the market.
- We are registered in ECOVADIS
International certifications
TUCAI products are certified by different organizations worldwide.
These quality marks demonstrate compliance with the main technical, health and functional requirements established in contractual agreements and/or are part of legal obligations in certain countries.
They are a differentiating element that gives our customers the peace of mind that they have purchased a reliable product.
Regulatory framework in Spain
In Spain there is also a mandatory regulatory framework: the Technical Building Code (CTE).
A set of regulations governing the construction of buildings in Spain since 2006.
It establishes the basic safety and habitability requirements for buildings, and therefore, our products, both flexible and valves, must comply with the requirements of the CTE.
Tucai in-house testing laboratories
- TUCAI has three fully equipped laboratories in its plants in Spain, Bulgaria and China, where, in addition to all production controls, the following are carried out:
- Mechanical tests required by certifying agencies
- Research and development trials
- Specific tests required by customer….etc.
- TUCAI laboratories are open to customers in order to jointly achieve all the required objectives.
- Experience, Quality, Customization, …. are in our DNA.
- We develop our laboratory activity for different industrial sectors, but always focused on the requirements of different types of markets, certifying bodies and customers.

Stress corrosion testing
According to product standard EN 13618, brass fittings, including bushings, shall be free from internal tensile forces and must withstand mercurous nitrate and ammonium tests.
After the test, the rods should show no traces of cracking even when viewed under microscope magnification 10 times.
Tightening torque resistance of the fasteners
According to product standard EN13618, male couplings and swivel nuts, according to their DN, must withstand a tightening torque in N according to table 6.
After the test the couplings must not show any trace of cracking even when magnified 10 times under a microscope.
Bending strength
According to product standard EN13618, according to their DN, the fasteners must withstand bending stresses according to table 7.
After the test the fasteners must not show any traces of cracks even when viewed under microscope magnification 10 times.
Flow rate According to product standard EN13618.
Three samples of the DN to be tested will be taken of 100mm.
of length, and in straight position the flow will be checked at a pressure of 3L/min according to table 8 of the standard.
TABLE 8
Nominal size | Minimum flow rate (l/min) | Minimum bore diameter (mm) |
DN 6 | 16 | - |
DN 8 | 28 | - |
DN 10 | 45 | - |
DN 13 | 60 | - |
DN 15 | - | 12,5 |
DN 18 | - | 15 |
DN 20 | - | 17 |
DN 25 | - | 20 |
Tensile strength
According to product standard EN13618.
3 samples of the DN to be tested will be taken and performed:
- Pre-aging of the tubes for 1 week (168h) at 90ºC and with static water pressure inside the tubes of 1.2Mpa).
- Properly the tensile test, according to table 9 of the standard, which relates the tensile force in N, with the DN to be tested.
During and after these tests, the flexible assembly should not show any leaks or other damage.
TABLE 9
Nominal size | Tensile stress |
DN 6 | 600 |
DN 8 | 600 |
DN 10 | 800 |
DN 13 | 1100 |
DN 15 | 1500 |
DN 18 | 2100 |
DN 20 | 2500 |
DN 25 | 3400 |
Resistance to ultraviolet rays (UV)
According to product standard EN13618
The test tubes shall be exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation according to EN ISO 300013, method B, cycle 3, energy of 25MW/m2.
The test tubes shall then withstand a water hammer test of 5/50bar pressure cycles, 90°C, 200 cycles.
Resistance to temperature variation
According to product standard EN13618.
Three samples of the DN to be tested shall be taken and the following shall be performed:
- A previous aging of the pipes for 1 week (168h) at 90ºC and with static water pressure inside the pipes of 1.2Mpa)
- And the temperature variation test or temperature cycles (5,000 cycles of 5min at 90ºC, 5min at 20ºC pressure of 10 bar.
During and after these tests, the flexible assembly must not show leaks or other damages.
Tightness test under internal hydrostatic pressure
According to product standard EN13618.
3 samples of the DN to be tested will be taken and will be carried out:
- A previous aging of the pipes for 1 week (168h) at 90ºC and with static water pressure inside the pipes of 1,2Mpa)
- And properly the hydrostatic pressure test of 1h, internal water pressure of 30bar, at 90ºC.
During and after these tests, the flexible assembly must not show leaks or other damages.
Pressure variation resistance test
Frost resistance
According to product standard EN13618.
Three samples of the DN to be tested will be taken and refrigerated in freezer for at least 8 hours at -20ºC.
Afterwards, bending tests will be performed at 180º on a mandrel (diameter according to DN) for 4 seconds.
And finally, a pressure test of 1.6Mpa will be performed for 1 min to check for leaks.
